Lawyer registration open for Pro Bono Going Public 2026
Registration is Now Open for Pro Bono Going Public 2026
Lawyers across British Columbia are invited to register for Access Pro Bono's 19th annual Pro Bono Going Public – Free Legal Advice-a-Thon.
From September 8–25, 2026, volunteer lawyers will provide free legal advice to hundreds of people across British Columbia while raising critical funds to support Access Pro Bono's year-round legal services.
This year's campaign includes:
- Virtual legal advice clinics, September 8–25
- Surrey Civic Centre, September 11
- Vancouver Art Gallery, North Plaza, September 17
- Provincial Legislature Lawns, Victoria, September 23
Whether you've participated before or are joining us for the first time, Pro Bono Going Public is a meaningful opportunity to give back to your community while helping ensure that more people can access legal assistance when they need it most.
Volunteer lawyers choose the clinic dates and times that work best for their schedules, making it easy to contribute in a way that fits their practice. Every volunteer shift helps us deliver free legal advice to people facing legal challenges, and raises essential funds that allow us to continue providing free legal services throughout the year.
We encourage lawyers from all practice areas and all stages of their careers to get involved.
Registration is now open. Join hundreds of lawyers from across the province in making justice more accessible for British Columbians.
Sponsorship Opportunities Still Available
Pro Bono Going Public would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. Sponsorship is a meaningful way for law firms, legal organizations, and businesses to demonstrate their commitment to access to justice while helping ensure that more people can receive free legal assistance.
A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are still available. If your organization is interested in supporting this year's campaign, we'd love to hear from you.
Together, we can make justice more accessible for people across British Columbia.
We look forward to seeing you at Pro Bono Going Public 2026!
