Introducing APB
Our Mission is to promote access to justice in BC by providing and fostering quality pro bono legal services for people and non-profit organizations of limited means. We also subscribe to a number of supporting Objectives and Principles.

The APB Board of Directors consists of several lawyers and non-lawyers from across BC who share a dedication to the pursuit of equal access to justice for all British Columbians.

The APB staff is a diverse and vibrant mix of hard-working individuals with legal and non-legal backgrounds whose daily mission is to serve individuals and non-profit organizations seeking critical legal help.

APB was formed as a result of the 2010 merger of the Western Canada Society to Access Justice and Pro Bono Law of British Columbia. The merger brought together BC's two leading pro bono organizations with the objective of delivering a full spectrum of pro bono services for low-income clients.
