Event Planner Assistant - Volunteer Position

Access Pro Bono is looking for one or two students willing to volunteer their time to assist in the planning and implementation of Access Pro Bono’s annual fundraiser Pro Bono Going Public and the planning of the 7th National Pro Bono Conferencet.  For further information regarding the events please visit www.advice-a-thon.ca and www.probonoconference.ca Responsibilities:

  • researching potential sponsorship opportunities;
  • compiling contacts for an invite list;
  • assisting with securing prize donations;
  • assisting with the event website upkeep and updates;
  • contacting local companies for product donations;
  • provide support to the Operations Coordinator;
  • attend events (local only) to assist in the execution and delivery;
  • participate in brainstorming new ideas and concepts; and
  • assist in other tasks as needed.

 If you are interested and you are

  • willing to commit to 4-8 hours a week until mid-October,
  • self-motivated with excellent administration and organizational skills, and
  • proficient with Word and Excel,
